South Carolina Camps and Retreat Ministry is a non-profit corporation serving over 240,000 United Methodists members of 1,020 congregations across South Carolina. The SC Camps and Retreat Ministry was formed as a 501 (c) (3) in 1998. This organization functions as a part of the United Methodist Conference. The purpose of the SC Camps and Retreat Ministries is to oversee the operations of the two current camps and retreat sites, Asbury Hills and Sewee Coastal Retreat Center. Daily operations are lead by a team of experienced personnel, in camp management, fundraising and hospitality.
