...it was all what I expected - and you always give
the best. My kids stay excited about camp until it is time to register for the
next year. We "sing" the blessing at every meal for weeks after camp!

The following are a variety of ways you can share your gifts to make a
difference in our Camping and Retreat Ministry in South Carolina:
The Annual Campaign: The most powerful way to give, your undesignated
donations to support Camps and Retreat operations and may be used for
camperships, emergency repairs or emerging ministries as needed. Donate $100
or more to be a “s’more” (Supporter of United Methodist Outdoor Recreational
Experiences).
The Campership Fund: Designated gifts that provide
scholarships for children who otherwise could not afford to attend summer
camp. A gift of $325 pays for one child to attend camp. In the past
seven years, this fund has provided over $125,000 to assist over 370 children
to attend camp. We look to raise approximately $25,000 for 2007
camperships.
Friends of Asbury Hills: “Friends” members pledge to give $100 on
request for specific building or repair projects at Asbury Hills, for up to two
gifts ($200) a year. To pledge, donate your first $100 gift now and
you'll be contacted about the current project and given an opportunity to give
to the next project.
“growing places…” Capital Campaign: This campaign is designed to
expand and upgrade facilities at both of
our South Carolina
conference sites, Sewee and Asbury Hills. Support for the campaign can be
designated or undesignated gifts or pledges over a three-year period.
