Proposed Facilities
In the fall of 2008, the board worked with an architectural firm to develop a new site plan for the property. The plan includes:

A Retreat Center which include 48 bedrooms, dining and meeting spaces, outdoor worship area, improved dock area, and an outdoor shelter. The buildings will have a low country feel, with large breezeways for rocking chairs and gathering. The views will include the live oaks along the Intercoastal waterway and the small pond on the Sewee property. The development of this property may be completed in phases.

The current lodging facilities will be renovated into a 50 bed youth retreat center with bunk style rooms and the current dining room as the meeting center.

The proposed cost of the first phase of construction is proposed to be around $5.5 million with the total cost for development projected to be $8 million.
